On November 13, 2009, Peacockwatch reported that MSNBC’s host Dylan Ratigan used altered photographs of Sarah Palin holding a gun while clad in a skimpy a bikini without making it know that the photographs were fake.
On his November 16th show, Ratigan finally issued an apology for his false reporting, saying that his staff “mistakenly” used the photographs.
He said, “We should have never used those photos in the first place…”
Today, on MSNBC’s Morning Meeting show, more fake photographs were on display as host Dylan Ratigan tried to add more to their Palin arsenal.
MSNBC seems to believe that if the point they want to make isn’t true, then they have the latitude to warp the truth — or in this case, fake photographs — until it matches their far left agenda.
Dylan Ratigan seemed overjoyed as he took shots at one of their favorite targets, a conservative woman, Sarah Palin. In trying to explain why people are taken to Sarah Palin, he used an internet-worn, doctored photo of a woman in a bikini holding a rifle. Unfortunately, Sarah Palin’s head had been photoshopped on the woman’s body.
While it seems most conservatives are aware this is a phoney photograph, most mouth-breathing liberals still think its the real thing.
Did Ratigan clarify the nature of the fake Palin photo to his audience? Of course not.
No wonder MSNBC has such a small viewing audience.
